Unfortunately this guy neglected to remove his piece from January 2012 predicting hyperinflation and a collapse of the dollar and suggesting everyone buys gold: U.S. Hyperinflationary Great Depression Moves Ever Closer U.S. Government and the Federal Reserve Effectively Have Destroyed Global Confidence in the U.S. Dollar shadowstats.com He's basically trying to sell subscriptions to his newsletter and he's targeting the "don't trust the government or academics" crowd.
