I was going to cut the last part of your statement off the quote because that was not the part I was taking exception to.

The question that you're begging is this: Did life evolve by itself gradually or was it created by some personal intelligent being? The fossil record shows us that the appearance of life on Earth was complex, sudden incredibly diverse.
