Michael:
Your move might be one of the best move yet. If I knew options better, I would follow your leads. Especially because yesterday was just a "panic-margincalls- stopsreached- increasedshorting-asianflu-stockmanipulationbybigguys" sell off. The cause of this sell off appears to have been market related and not because of something inherant to American ECO. Fortunately this coming coverage (and let's not forget David's which might come in earlier and be credited for the recovery and possibly "great" ECGOF rise of late 1997) will be helpful. Europe has stabilized over night (at least for now). Unfortunately, my 10 1/4 and 9 3/4 limit buys went in and because all my other equities have fallen... I am getting a margin call... not fair! I have 3 days to answer it and plan to hold over the weekend in view of the recent posts.

I agree that the options look like a great play here. Just bot Jan10 and March10 calls.

I just confirmed with IR this morning that the new coverage coming out on ECO (in the next two weeks) is completely independent of ECO in all financial regards. Once again, ECO is not offering this NY Investment Banking firm any of its current financing business...and for that matter ECO is not engaged with this NY I-Bank in any shape or form. This, IMO, is a major coup for ECO and its shareholders as the published "rating" will carry far more weight on Wall Street and through investor circles. Of course, this new coverage is in addition to the pending coverage from the Wall Street firm assisting ECO with its bond deal. We're starting to roll.
