<...experts say companies betting their future on the Internet still have a load of work to do educating consumer and business customers.>

The beauty of CKFR's approach is that the BANKS do the educating, as Nationsbank has been doing in my part of the country with a nice series of TV ads showing how easy it is to pay bills this way. And, lately, I'm seeing TV ads for Quickbooks, which has billpay.

<<<<< It said roughly one-tenth of 1 percent of the gross domestic product will be transacted on the Web in 1997

........wait till it is 5-10% (not unrealistic considering 40-60% yearly growth) of GDP.

.........what will be the price of ckfr? it almost doesn't matter--we will all just wish we had bought more.

........bought more today--yes market could get worse, but as buffet once said something like "a $25 stock that is going to $50 is still cheap at #30." (or something like that)
