jeff, I think it is easy to buy small chunks of futures contracts in the thinly traded wee hours. That could make a big difference in price swings. Anybody with billions of dollars in stock assets and don't mind losing a couple of few million to margin calls on futures can afford to this. i.e. fidelity, merrill lynch and the like. IMHO!
