What is OBV? . . . Gotcha! OBV would only be used for confirmation. Not a reliable primary indicator. Have you heard of the Klinger Volume Oscillator? It is much better. Of course you would never use a single indicator for anything. Look at about a million of them, and use experience with each one to weight what it reveals relative to the type of stock and price movement you are seeing.
