Thanks Lawernce! ... you know what, I get a fair amount of mail from Novell employees, they are all supportive too!

For some reason the amount of mail coming in is falling off now ... I think it's because they are too busy, and less concerned about being 'restrained' by their management ... many actually told me of their own disatisfaction with the company practices regarding dealing with marketing and sales issues, gave me a pretty good insight into where the problems were. The big concern for me during the past 9 months was that nobody at Novell apparently felt like they personally had the responsibility and authourity to 'fix' the marketing and sales problems. They only people that seemed to think they had marketing/sales responsiblity vehmently denied that there was a problem ... until they finally 'disappeared' (most went away about the same time that Joe Marengi 'left') ... can't say that the marketing or sales functions are up to strength yet, but they stopped denying the problems a few weeks after Schmidt became CEO. I believe this situation is improving now ... but, I'm still not satisfied with the pace.
