I would certainly hope that in this day and age no legitimate scientist of any kind would believe that a consensus of their cohort signing on to a particular "finding" bears any weight, at all. I would hope we've moved past that time. Apparently, there are some in the global warming business who think consensus is more important than science. There are some of us who still think the concept of requiring proof is still in play. And at this point the proof is at best shaky, and pretty much nonexistent. You may fool the Koan-styled "scientists".
