Yes, ours is mostly US traffic However, results will vary by the type of app. As you mentioned, most major apps (FB and the like) came out for iOS first. That's because iOS was the hot spot when the mobile apps really started taking off a few years ago (largely because of the iPhone). If you look at just recent phenomena, iOS no longer is the go-to. And, of course, there are now more apps available for Android than iOS overall. The area where iOS still leads is revenue per user, especially once you get someone to be a regular user of an app. But again, that edge is fading.

We've seen that shift dramatically since then, largely for reasons this article details. In fact, with our projects, we've now seen the the profit potential completely reverse, with Android now in the lead and the shift actually accelerating.
That simply is not even a marginally credible statement as it is counter to all verifiable data I have seen and personal experience I have had. Is your business public? I might want to short it.

Luckily, Apple continues to be strong, even dominant, in the more app-centric countries, like the US and Japan.

I'm looking forward to some updated Distimo numbers for app downloads in Japan. The weight of the increased iOS market share numbers in Japan should start to show up in app downloads/revenue.

Apple has issues share issues in a number of other countries but the fact that the US/Japan dominate the app revenue numbers is certainly going to help them over the short to medium term.
