Why would anyone assume that the jury verdict was bad? I think WiLAN would have to prove that to a very high standard. Judges' natural inclination is to side with the jury - a key democratic principle is at stake.

I have seen nothing that suggests waiting for the Apple appeal makes any sense whatsoever - if WiLAN believes that, they should make the case to shareholders instead of sitting on their thumbs....
