Its more than that......... a different attitude. More of a willingness to take a risk. Hard to explain.

A lot of it is water cooler chatter at work or with friends in their sphere of influence during the upcycle. If others do well overextending on that dream home gives you an added push to get in the game no matter the cost. Everyone is doing it and getting rich so can I.

Not sure if you know but some portfolio lenders have quietly filled a badly needed niche, with easy qualify low down loans in CA the past 12-18 months looking to get around not only Dodd Frank but looking to package these loans yet again to Wall Street.. I am scared all this will spread across the country fueling yet again another housing bubble even more national than last time within 2-4 years..
