JUMPER AND PETE M. VISIT THE FOOTLOCKER

Jumper - Pete! What are you doing here, buying shoes? I thought you'd be back at SI fighting off the dipsters.<g>

Pete M. - I wore out my soles running away from all these bulls.<-g->

Jumper - What kind of shoes are you getting? Maybe some Air Jordan's so you can jump high enough to see stock valuations.<g>

Pete M. - Actually, I want a pair of British Knights... you know, BK shoes. <-gg->

Jumper - Hey, here's some Nike for $230. Maybe you should wait for them to split. <g>

Pete M. - I'd rather buy Micron. <-g-> Look for some BK's.

Jumper - I don't think they sell those anymore. Maybe we can use a magic marker and make this pair of K-Swiss look like BK's <g>

Pete M. - Ijust happen to have a marker in my pocket. Start drawing.<-g->

Jumper sketches on the shoes....

Jumper - Is it a BK yet? <g>

Pete M. - Not yet..<-g->

Jumper - Now is it a BK? <g>

Pete M. - Not even close. BK is a myth.<-ggg->

At this point in the dialogue, I must interrupt to explain to the audience that the <g>'s and <-gg->'s after each phrase are not a symbol for grin, or even an emphasis added by me for better telling.
Rather, it is a gutteral sound emenating from the back of the throat. No one knows what causes it.

Here comes one of the store managers now. Back to the story.....

High School Kid in a Referee Uniform - Hey, if you guys don't stop making those disgusting <-g> noises, I'm going to have to ask you to leave.

Jumper - I'm sorry, sir.

High School Kid in a Referee Uniform - I mean it!

Pete M. - It won't happen again, sir.

Store manager leaves.....

Jumper - I think that was a dipster. <g>

Pete M. - He better run buy some stock. I think there was a 0.1% retracement just now. <-gg->

end
