You just saw him as less of an idiot. But it was an idiot who chose her. Just like it was an idiot who initially suggested her (Little Kristol of the Weekly Standard). And idiots who continue to idolize her. A lot of them out there.

He was less of an idiot before picking Mrs Nutcase.

Right, the fever of running drove him nuts..

Or, in the midst of a real decision, that he was actually responsible for, he was able to actually show his true capabilities

..not a single loudmouth in a hundred like he was used to

..and we are probably not in a global war over the middle east now, since we opted to chalk him up to senility
