We must have universal health care one way or the other. I don't really care how we do it. Personally I am for the government building two or three times as many medical schools and putting the graduating docs on salary. Let's just get going with it. It is a ten cent idea, but right on the money. Like teaching very young kids languages. Why haven't we done that? There sure as hell would be plenty of qualified applicants to fill the medical schools. We need to do some serious social planning instead of following all this right wing bullshit. And I tell you as a seasoned professional it is pure bullshit.
