....you really have to wonder about those GM engineers..............seems as though a stiffer spring would have increased the torque required to flip the key switch .....preventing the switch from shutting off because of a road bump or heavy key chain.............they measured the torque required to flip the bad switch and it was maybe about only half of the spec............so they used it anyway. ......WTF ??
