Dan, Unfortunately LM decided not to convert my system for Y2K so I left. I don't want to be negative, just realistic, about the value Cray will add to SGI. If they really do scale from WSs/servers to Cray it would be great! But there is a limited market for SuperPower Boxes. It's more a challenge(taunt) like the 'Man on the Moon' race, that my Supercomputer is better/faster than yours. NA,NA,NANA,,NA! There certainly IS money to make off the gov't! Look at Perot. But he goes around showboating all the money he made from usA and then runs for President complaining about bad contracts/waste in gov't spending. Sounds like he doesn't want anyone else to money like he did! Seems odd to me. Enough BS! SGI will do well into the future. I too will add a disclaimer that my opinions are only mine and if I was right more often I'd be on the reservation list for the Lincoln Bedroom! Ciao!
