<Those poor folks in India have had to make do with proprietary RISC boxes for so long> For your edification,some 200-300 million of us 'poor folks' have some money, what is that, about the size of the U.S population,or europe. In case you haven't noticed the report only indicated that with the acquisition of Tandem, CPQ will be all able to diversify their product-mix, besides the Intel based Proliant servers.So it's not just replacing one RISC based box with another. BTW=Was it sarcasm I noticed or am I just imagining things.
