But I also know, democracy is the best system man has ever had. We need to protect it! And you think by supporting Obama and Pelosi and Reid you're "supporting democracy"? That's stupid. These people have done more to destroy democracy in this country than any other people during my lifetime. For different reasons. Pelosi is an idiot. Reid is evil. And Obama is ignorant. Three different problems, three different people, but a confluence of power that has been the most destructive force in our nation's history, other than maybe the Civil War (which some would argue was the opposite of destructive, but that's neither here nor there). They have other, common characteristics -- arrogance, most notably. But it is hard to see how any person can conclude these three people have done anything other than destroy democracy in this country. Honestly, your ideological commitment has so clouded your perspective it is clear that you would continue to support these three nitwits under any circumstances. Do you realize that these people have actually ATTACKED the free press? Do you realize they have PAID legislators for their votes? Do you realize they have lied through their teeth to the American people time and again? I'm not sure how stupid people have to be to tolerate it without complaining. But there are a lot of you who are so committed to a political party you cannot even comprehend that you have forsaken your ideals. It is really sad, but there is a country full of people just like you. North Korea.
