Just for that, I'm going to go ahead and do the intensive torture testing using the media testing application sent to me by my engineer correspondent.

It's really not necessary to chip in for a new drive for me, though. If I have a problem with a Zip drive after testing XHD disks, I'll consider it well worth the cost, and you'll all be the first to know.
