I'm all for concealed carry and think that personal exposure to gun free zones should be avoided as if your life depended on it.....because it very well may....But if you check, Chicago seems to be trying to drag their feet in issuing the permits and it appears that they are just now getting to the public in that area. My money is on the colder than average winter & spring for the drop in the murder rate.....but, let's hope the CCW laws have the desired positive effect and the good folks in Chicago take back their streets.....thugs have had the run of the place for far too long.
