Mostly, when the idiots post "Common Core" "assignments" you should tell them the Common Core has nothing to do with those assignments. The Common Core doesn't have any "assignments". It's just a guide about thinking. I'm not changing any of my assignments in my classes (at least not because of the Core)- good teaching is still good teaching under the Core. It's just supposed to boot teachers who were not teaching at higher levels of thinking. Repetition may be the only thing that will work for the morons out there (and even repetition may not help) But keep it simple, and just repost that link. I wouldn't bother trying to talk to the morons- nothing to be gained by verbal dances with idiots. christopherdanielson.wordpress.com
