S&P500 futures had "rollover" yesterday where Mar.contract now lead contract instead of Dec. Most screens now show March contract as nearby or most active. Dec.is at fair value so no arbs possible for either buy or sell programs. Lots of rollovers needed yet. March contract now has more volume but less open interest than Dec. Happens every quarter and difficult to read expiration trading patterns. Some say next week has buy side bent to expiration. FWIW.
