>> The theory of global warming is a gigantic weather forecast for a century or more.

Really sort of puts it in perspective.

<<Scientists, Rupert Darwall complains, have been too ready to embrace the “subjectivity” of the future, and too often have a “cultural aversion to learning from the past”. If they read this tremendous book they will see those lessons set out with painful clarity.>>

Science is a matter of objectivity and subjectivity.

That is just pure nonsense. These non scientist's have no idea what the scientific community understands.
They don't know, what they don't know, so they make shit up.

The scientist's just found the Higgs boson and gravity waves. That is such high science only a few people in the world can understand it.

Gobal warming at the highest levels of understanding is the same complexity.

Here is the thesis of the probability. 97% of the top climatologists agree about AGW. To know that statistic and then disregard it is the height of ignorance. When 97% of the top scientist's say something is real only a fool would argue with them.

Very few of the knowledgeable scientist's are arguing with them. It is primarily the laymen who are not qualified to comment on global warming making all the senseless noise.

Especially someone with little scientific training.
