OT--
I just read this or I would have commented earlier--

No doubt cost of water (many car washes recycle) and sewage charge are going up.

Obamacare may too be a burden, because if you don't offer health care you pay a penalty in this free country of ours.g/ng

Come on, Bob, how many car washes have more than 50 employees? If they don't have that many, then they don't have to offer them health care.

I think Kirk lives in Southern CA, doesn't he? If so, he lives in a desert. It was made into a "paradise" because the federal govt pipes in water from northern CA and the Colorado River in order to make it livable for millions of people. And farmable for thousands of farms. And they don't charge them for all of the infrastructure. And they give them the water at a discount to boot!

But southern Californians love to bitch and moan about all the federal taxes they have pay.

BTW, my reason to mention this was not to debate the merits of Obamacare, but to point out that inflation may be low NOW but as we implement Obamacare AND find other ways to pay for promised government pensions, prices for everything will have to go up... especially those related to water or labor.... and that is future inflation lurking in the shadows that WILL come...
