It is pretty impossible to communicate with them. We have tried and tried.

What constitutes their world of fun and values is too often abhorrent to us e.g. things like their fun of dog fighting.

There is not a liberal in the country Ok with that.

Rural America is slowly dying off. Did you see the 60 Minute segment on Appalachia? Dems do a bad job speaking to them IMHO since they are so poor, so unhealthy, very uneducated, so into their simple existence in their little homogeneous towns where nothing ever changes..
