I'm out of the stock with the short covering selling strength last week so I won't be monitoring closely anymore. I think the merger may have gone bust because of some accounting aggressiveness on GT's part. Both Volpe and Piper have had comments today regarding no profitability in the first half of next year and possible restatements of historical results. GT has an ugly balance sheet, with no decent plays in pc this year other than TA in a very crowded segment, a possible restatement could drive GT lower from here. The risk reward doesn't seem that compelling anymore unless you think abe's odd world will drive a consumer franchise comparable to star wars. I'm looking at TLC as a play on low cost PC's. It seems the education segment is less crowded.

good luck in an ugly market...
