You are misunderstanding Skinner. He did not dismiss the human mind like you are trying to do. He was explaining one type of behavior of the human mind. Hardly. You ever heard of the book, "Verbal Behavior"? Which was a substantial portion of Skinner's life's work? It was about HUMAN "verbal behavior". My daughter developed an curriculum for nonverbal autistic children around Skinner's work which we are now implementing as an iPad app. The program works. So, don't come here saying that Skinner's methods did not dismiss the human mind. They did EXACTLY that, basing the entire process on the same methods that apply to animal behavior. >> He was also a bit nuts and took it too far.
