Bentway, the problem is that you think raising taxes on the wealthy will shrink the gap between rich and poor. I argue the opposite, that it actually increases that gap. It punishes wealth creation and pushes speculation. The only thing raising taxes on the wealthy will accomplish will be bigger government. Maybe some of that additional tax revenue will "trickle down" to the masses, but that is no different than throwing bones to dogs like yourself. Tenchusatsu
