That's because you are concerned with unfilled gaps and the position of the planets. Stocks tend to go up, there's another theory that may or may not hold any meaning in the context of a particular security. To the extent that there is a general tendency to fill gaps, over what time frame and over what percentage of stocks is this meaningful? It's just a factor like any other and it's a pretty poor one at that. A single anecdotal example is also not meaningful.
