Re: HAS SCHWAB LOST ITS 'CORPORATE MIND'?

That's great for you; how nice & farsighted of you for not having any of your hard-earned money at Schwab! However, I believe others do have Schwab accounts as well as the moderator, Ken. Must one be an 'approved member' of the 'inner circle' to get an intelligent/decent reply or comment? Your non-sequitor/frivolous response represents the syndrome of the 'cult of forums'. It literally exists on all of them. I seem to have offended some sensibility in you somewhere along the way; I can't even attempt to apologize since I have no idea what it may be, except for the fact that I am a relative newcomer.

I am sure that you shall get many recommendations for you comment; be happy in your world!

I must say that the tone carried in your reply to Lady Brehm is one seldom read here on the Income Investing Forum. I believe that you have misunderstood her reply which was a simple suggestion that you not use Schwab.

Civility and friendship have been the common theme here and so I was quite surprised when reading your message. I have been a friend of Lady Brehm here and at InvestorVillage for many years now. She is a gentle and kind soul who has helped many investors become knowledgeable in the world of Preferreds and ETD's. I have never seen one single harsh word from her in about 8 years of reading her messages and for that reason I know you have simply misunderstood her response.

I will also observe that as a long time investor Lady Brehm is quite aware of the proper spelling for Schwab, the incorrect letter was simply a "typo" which happens to many of us these days as the years zip by.

I am not the Moderator of this Forum but I hope that Ken as Moderator removes these messages, that you take a deep breath, and let us start all over.

Words have meaning and it is always more pleasant to read kind and gentle words of help and assistance rather than words which find fault and could possibly hurt feelings.

Re: HAS SCHWAB LOST ITS 'CORPORATE MIND'?

Hey Jersey Guy, I and many others second everything Orchid said. There are many good people here, and you have offended many of us. I like Brehm and read all of her posts, so please stop any and all negative comments about her. Sorry you had a bad time with Schwab, but it isn't her fault. You should apologize to her and the forum. You are quite welcome if civil and polite. If not, please go elsewhere.

Re: HAS SCHWAB LOST ITS 'CORPORATE MIND'?

I fully support what Eng and orchid have posted.

Lady Brehm has been an incredibly valuable poster here on this forum, and has helped most if not all of us with timely and useful information. She has been a factor in several buying decisions I have made that have turned out well.

The condescending tone of your post is regrettable. We do not want this board to degenerate to the likes of Yahoo and other free-for-all message boards.

AS SCHWAB LOST ITS 'CORPORATE MIND'?

Come on Jersey, she just commented to leave Schwab. We all need to be civil. She meant nothing demeaning. Ken
