I have done both and know both and whomever said that is nuts. What I keep trying to get across to you is that setting up any type of Republic is complicated and subjective. You have some idea in your head about what you want, but you have no idea how you would get it. Tell me how you would set up your society from scratch? Exactly. You have a new country and want to set up a Republic. How would you do it? I'll bet you cannot tell me.
