Here's a text copy: HQ ARIZONA STATE MILITIA “PRAETORIAN GUARD” COCHISE COUNTY, ARIZONA HQ-ASMPG-0132 Situation In Nevada The Arizona State Militia has been contacted by individuals and other Constitutional Militia groups nationwide seeking our stance on the matter in Nevada. We have delayed responding as the nature of this event required us to confer with the command council to determine the position of our organization. When responding on behalf of hundreds of dedicated and respected members, we must make sure we have all the facts. Given the widely varying stories coming from both the Federal Government and the Bundy family, and not having verifiable facts pertaining to this 20 year old battle, we are willing to comment only on the Constitutional aspects of this case as to avoid spreading misinformation. There are reports that snipers are pointing weapons at individuals that are neither armed nor acting in an aggressive manner. If a citizen were to do such, they would certainly be facing negligent use of a deadly weapon, brandishing, menacing or a host of other charges. These actions are inflammatory, illegal, and immoral at best. No lives are in danger, although that may not be necessarily true as the individuals with high powered rifles aimed at them are in fact in danger. What does it say when the forces charged with your protection turn out to be the biggest threat to your life? Do these snipers intend on shooting people for crossing some illegal boundary onto public land, or do they plan to re-enact Ruby Ridge and kill indiscriminately? Many of us raised around firearms were taught to respect the true and undeniable power contained within them. I personally was taught never point your firearm at something you do not intend to destroy. It seems as if these agents of the law have forgotten this basic safety principal. These actions are illegal and dangerous, thus the Arizona State Militia along with the Nevada Militia and the Militias of states bordering Nevada DEMAND these crimes are stopped immediately. The pointing of weapons at individuals whom pose no threat will from here on out be considered an act of aggression against the innocent. Secondly, the Arizona State Militia is in full support of Gov. Sandoval in regards to his order that BLM is to dismantle the so called "Free speech zone". Contrary to the beliefs of BLM, the Constitution and its declared freedoms contained therein are not subject to restrictions as approved by the Gestapo on site. The Constitution along with all of the freedoms it insures are rights to be utilized on every inch of American soil no matter how inconvenient that truth may be. We care not if these zones are dismantled or left to stand, for they mean absolutely nothing to anyone and are illegal in existence. The United States Supreme Court found in Hague v. Committee for Industrial Organization that public streets and parks "have immemorially been held in trust for the use of the public and, time out of mind, have been used for purposes of assembly, communicating thoughts between citizens, and discussing public questions." In the later Thornhill v. Alabama case, the court found that picketing and marching in public areas is protected by the United States Constitution as free speech. Our fundamental rights will be exercised as our forefathers intended, not as an oppressive Government prefers. Abuses against the Constitution of these United States will not be tolerated or left to stand unchecked any longer. The rights of our Citizens are being diminished and ignored more and more with each day that passes. The time has come to stand together shoulder to shoulder putting our differences aside as brothers and sisters united, and demand these corrupt agencies and the corrupt officials to recognize the constraints our founders set against them. We must stand together, our differences utilized as our strengths or we will most assuredly hang alone. If we do not stand today, here and now I ask of you, what will be left for our children? Likewise we ask all Patriots to remain level headed, calm and collected. No offensive actions by any member of any militia nationwide can happen. To do so is to lose the moral high ground and engage in exactly what we stand against. This situation is already volatile enough with tempers running high, but the fact is no human life is worth the cost of a steer and currently no human life has been taken. We are at a point where changes can be made and cooler heads can prevail, but both sides need to take a breath, and the Constitution needs to once again be recognized by BLM and the FEDS on the ground. The molestation and trampling of our rights has gone on far too long, so take notice, the American people have had enough. I advise all that prefer to take an unconstitutional and lawless stance to dealing with the American people to consider this fact before acting, as “We the people” are getting restless Col.
