I happened to turn on CNBC a little while ago and they had the floor traders saying "no one is buying, I wouldn't buy here, why would you buy here?" I was laughing...clearly the main floor is short everything they can get their hands on.

What I find even more humorous was the talk about momentum stocks causing all this. I looked at all of the sectors I follow and none of them were up. Not one. Now I don't follow everything, to say the least but I do follow a very large portion of the market in separate sector watch lists.

100 out of the 105 industrial stocks I follow were all in the red. 200 of the 220 biotechs were down. 50 of the 55 computer stocks were down. 100 out of the 120 telecom and communications were down.

Similar ratios in Software, Internet, Chemicals, Aerospace, etc.....

I guess they are all mo-mo stocks these days.....no distinctions being made!!
