I would put more credibility into numbers from Apple than unnamed Samsung Execs but 18.3 million iPads in this last quarter which is normally Apple's slowest isn't horrible. I know my Mom just bought a fully loaded iPad Air and a Mac Mini. I will most likely purchase an iPhone 6 depending on features as my current iPhone and iPad combo really suit me when not at my Mac Pro or Macbook Pro.
