But it is in the invisible underbelly of society where a pervasive danger exists and ongoing damage occurs. It is the children who are assaulted by irrational world views--in family, in church--and often in school. Even when they accept Science, they often do so with a lack of confidence or trust in Reason, and their lives lack the assurance of purposefulness based on a respect for Reality. Because their confidence in reality has been undermined by fairy tales and a disrespect for thought and logic. And "Museums" are supposed to be educational and artistic venues--not propaganda devices? Then we have the web sites and the organizations that are continuously striving and plotting to take Science out of our schools and sneak in the bible under the disguise of "design"! Being ignorant is one thing. Spreading and teaching ignorance is another. When people like the TROLL boy and gregoree and broomstick come on these sites, they are not just being ignorant--they are spreading and proselytising ignorance. Otherwise, I would not waste a minute of my day on such troglodytes. And neither would you.
