Also useful, in context, to reconsider the nature of the efforts you saw being made by the BLM from the start... that now including not only the events this week... but all the parallel events over the prior YEARS in which ALL the other ranchers have been similarly intimidated and run off their lands.

There is a REASON they crafted a "First Amendment Zone"... including a designated area where the media were to be contained, intending to ensure that they couldn't cover the ACTUAL story that was unfolding ?

There's a reason Chuck Schumer is trying to craft that same "First Amendment Zone" nationwide, and more narrowly, to not allow anyone in the First Amendment Zone that doesn't have a government license to speak ?

And, the events this week PROVE why freedom of speech is a risk that the criminals in the Democrat Party cannot afford to tolerate... because when people know the truth... they will not tolerate Democrats.

The BLM's effort was all and only about preventing INFORMATION from getting out ?

That's why the prosecuted their strategy one ranch at a time...

That's why they tased and assaulted Mr. Bundy's son for exercising his First Amendment rights on PUBLIC PROPERTY that was NOT legitimately under the control of the BLM ?

The entire effort... was intended to INTIMIDATE people into not telling the story...

Bundy is a National Hero...

And, now, the media will try to "move on"... hoping the story goes away ?

But, Bundy's rights to the water are a matter of law... and, the BLM who said the backhoe's were being used to "restore the land" were using them to destroy Bundy's property and his rights...

Did the BLM get a judge to rule that Bundy's rights to the water had been terminated ?

Or, did they just decide they were going to do "whatever it took" to destroy his ranch ?

The role of the media appears it is information suppression ?

Here's another great example of "selective reporting" on Lindy's thread pertaining to Sen Cruz:

On Thursday, Washington Post reporter Ed O’Keefe blogged: “An incredible thing happened this week: A bill written by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) has passed Congress.” It was a bill designed to block entry into the country for Iran’s new ambassador to the United Nations, who aided the radical Iranians who held Americans hostage for 444 days in 1979 and 1980.

On Saturday, the Post put the controversy on page one and played “Hide the Ted.” There was no mention of Cruz anywhere in the 946-word article. The only proud politician quoted was liberal Chucky Schumer.
