IMO, the fools are a manifestation of an age-old phenomenon -- if you go back and check, you will find that during raging bull-markets, investment clubs have proliferated. Everytime they claim to know the key to investing for the long-term, blah blah blah, and when the markets go into a prolonged decline, they shut their shops closed!

We cannot have these fools to replace Brinker! If you need counsel during all times, good and bad, you need someone who is well-versed in economics and financial matters. Not someone who claims to have found a few sure-fire strategies that can be used by any idiot to become a millionaire!

Dipy.

I just sent out an email to the local ABC affiliate that broadcasts Brinker's "Moneytalk" program here, urging them to renew Mr. Brinker's contract. I stressed that doing so would benefit the listeners, the radio station, AND the advertisers.

I also made it amply clear to them that if the fools are selected as permanent hosts of "Moneytalk", not only would I stop listening to that program, I will stop listening to their radio station altogether! :-)
