The Reid revelations played a huge role in this I think.

Concur
But the huge impact affected both sides quite differently. The govt forces had to know when the Reid revelations began hitting the Internet, and someone in authority knew they had to respond by backing down or risk far more than they were willing to lose.

On the other hand, the Patriots were already organized and on the move when that news leaked out. The news had the opposite effect on them. It was motivating.

True or not, from a Psychological Warfare (PSYOPS) perspective, the Reid revelations were incredible.
I'd bet this one will end up as a classic classroom example. I say that because it had an impact on both sides.

All the PSYOPS I can recall right now was directed at and intended to affect one side.
We can always think up things like that.

Don't tell anyone, keep it secret!!! I'm going to Northern Idaho in a few months and am thinking about opening a lunch sandwich shop serving fried or grilled spotted owl sandwiches.

And, do you see ANY evidence of that story in the "main stream" media ? Are they covering the REASON the Feds quit pressing Bundy to steal his rights and his ranch in order to transfer them to a corrupt Senator ?

The evidence seems to provide proof enough, not only that CNN is "in the tank" for the government, but that they are ACTIVELY suppressing news KNOWINGLY, in order to defend the corruption...

I noted that our recognizing the media ARE the problem... was not a reason for optimism ?

But, as the McCullough article shows... the "main stream" media aren't really relevant any more. They weren't there... both in the physical sense... but more importantly in the sense that it is not only the public, but the media themselves who are made both ignorant by the facts being ignored, and irrelevant in result.

The new media... means the people who ARE aware, are a full news cycle ahead of those who have allowed themselves to be made the dependents of the criminal media who support the government in its practice of committing crimes against the public, and crimes against the Constitution.
