You turn this around by saying, "yes we are for private schools for EVERYBODY!" Leaves the Left claiming that is impossible.
Last year I met a Swedish couple while I was traveling. We got to discussing schools and they informed me that every student in Sweden, regardless of wealth, was given a voucher to attend the school of his/her choice. They'd attended one presentation by a private school, in which they were shown a slide of a playground filled with happy kids. The headmaster said, "This is what our playground looks like today". Next slide was the same playground, but empty. He said "This is what it will look like if you're not happy with the education we provide your children."
They said the competition significantly improved the quality of the public schools, who now had to compete.
