I think the link to the solar plant is that they wanted to use the one area as a turtle refuge to offset the destruction of turtle habitat in the solar area. That's true, but the offsite turtle mitigation thing involving Bundy's property isn't connected to the huge Reid/Chinese project down in Laughlin, it's part of the Dry Lake Solar Zone, just NE of Vegas. It doesn't help the cause to dispense bogus info that the government types will use to deflect attention from the real issues..
