Public schools are a failure. They can't be made to work. This is the first axiom on the road to educational reform. Until you accept that, you won't get anywhere.

Principals in government schools don't have private enterprise principles, that's why they are not wanted: <Why not apply the same principals to public schools?>

Principles before principals.

Remember, people learn from success. They don't learn what works from punishment or mistakes. Children need to experience a continual stream of success from when they are born. Mistakes are just warnings.

The principle that principals should understand is that WHAT GETS REWARDED GETS DONE.

Rewards come in all forms with the most important ones being internally determined by the person learning how to make the world happen.
