No, I left the Bay Area because I was offered a better paying gig at a startup in La Jolla. I didn't like Silicon Valley much - it's a high tech ghetto. You're buying in a tech and RE bubble that are feeding off each other, just like you did last time. Times change.
I'll take this so-called "high-tech ghetto" over where you ended up any day of the week.

Except when there's fresh powder in the Utah ski resorts, of course.
