A: Stock options are given to officers and are worth something after the stock appreciates; they are to motivate the officers to perform in a way that will benefit the shareholders and are indeed part of the deal when they sign on as officers. The situation OFW describes is not the same; the President of a company is presumably compensated for full time services; he should not recieve additional compensation for additional services imo. OFW's concern seem legit to me. David
