can you document that? Who and when did they advise people not to buy insurance? Fox News is outraged because all the people it told to not buy insurance can’t buy insurance until November.

Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove ( see trends). The latest figures include 25% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16. Results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Today’s the deadline for filing your income taxes, but just 16% of voters think most members of Congress pay most of their taxes. By comparison, only 18% think most Americans cheat on their taxes. Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Americans believe middle-class Americans currently pay a larger share of their income in taxes than wealthy people do. Sixty-six percent (66%) of voters think most congressional incumbents get reelected because election rules are rigged to benefit them. Democrats continue to have a slight lead over Republicans on the Generic Congressional Ballot. It depends on how you ask the question and whom you ask. To get a sense of longer-term job approval trends for the president, Rasmussen Reports compiles our tracking data on a full month-by-month basis. Rasmussen Reports has been a pioneer in the use of automated telephone polling techniques, but many other firms still utilize their own operator-assisted technology ( see methodology).
