Iso, I haven't looked into this for a long time, but doesn't Tesco have a "casing while drilling" rig setup?
Not coiled tubing but actual casing, where the drill bit is eccentered and pokes out beneath the casing shoe.

Can't post a link from my current location, but I'm sure it can be googled.

The coiled casing reel for onshore use would be too big to be transported on roads. Pipelines from coils have been deployed from marine vessels for several years, usually with the reels in a horizontal configuration.
