Was the American Revolution in 1775 ridiculous?

It WAS unpopular but proved to be the right course of action.

I don't think you can disconnect the issue of the debt... from the Feds creeping claims of "ownership" of "some" states ? What did they talk about doing when they were putting Greece in the stocks ?
