News just out from US Treasury that early disbursement of funds to Korea will not be possible.

Korea will default. Japan will restructure its loans. But this crisis will roll. Not gonna be over quickly. Mexican gov't was run by Harvard educated economists who had strong relationships w/Rubin, Sommers, et. al.

Korea is refusing to do anything. Congress would kill Clinton for doing more than the existing IMF plan. Korea won't even agree to that. And now its too late.
