Marc, I played MTG alot when it was first released. I think you
are correct, i wanted to play other people, but wasn't able to.
I still own the game, and will now upgrade to the expansion pack
so i can play.
Personally i'm looking foward to "Agents of Justice", they could
have a winner here. Ever since Bullfrog pretty much dropped there
superhero game, this one seems to be getting the most attention.

Alex

Mark, you bring up an important point: people don't play spiffy games, they play *addictive* games.

Spiffy games which rely on the latest MMX doohickey from Intel will have a short shelf life and quick obsolescence if that is all they rely on.

But, from all indications, multiplayer MTG is way, way addictive. And in that vein, they should just kick the damn Falcon 4.0 out the door, and now.

But I must disagree with you regarding the forecast loss: I really don't think they would put out these horrible numbers (7-10 mil) if it wasn't probable. Closer to 10 mil, I'd think, especially given what the market is now saying via their stock price. No upside surprises there, I think.
