Sure. it's not the 6" you need for the vertical portion of a multi-leg horizontal well. However, it would save considerable time and money setting pipe on vertical Upper Devonian shale wells, in this area, which use 4 1/2" down to the Rhinestreet at about 5,300' .

Coil tubing. O.K. thanks, I was always puzzled about how coiled tubing could possible work. But the small diameter makes it more plausible. Still need to study up on how they can drill with this stuff. Do they have to use a mud motor?
