You not only took advantage of them, but compounded their misery by coming on here and raving about how wonderful it was. You are the epitome of the "useful IDIOT!" Is your ignorance wilful?? "enslaved by totalitarian Communist thugs" is a straw man. That is not the dispute. Your pretense that supporting the capitalistic trade of resources and jobs and ideas enslaves them more rather than less is sheer stupidity. Every single tourism worker I encountered was far far better off than those milking a single goat at home. Cuba is a wonderful land and a wonderful people rapidly being exposed to capitalism and ideas of freedom. They will soon have a middle class and (barring invasion) capitalism will be assured. You should go there and spread some tips around if you want to help out. Just don't spread any of your stupid ideas. They need ideas--but not yours...
